Ordinary dishes, moderate service, home cook style. Environment wise, good, but many mosquitoes due to outdoor dining. Tried its Beehoon Hongkong (RM6.50), very common one. Slightly pricy for a campus students. Could be a choice for family time.

Oten’s @ Rasa Indah Kafeteria in Kota Samarahan is truly a hidden gem for food lovers! I had the chance to try their Chicken Briyani, and it was nothing short of amazing. The fragrant, fluffy basmati rice was perfectly spiced, and the chicken was tender and well-marinated. The rich curry on the side added an extra depth of flavor, making every bite satisfying. Aside from their Briyani, Oten’s is also known for its Laksa Sarawak, which is a must-try! The broth was thick, flavorful, and packed with the authentic taste of Sarawak’s signature dish. The combination of fresh prawns, shredded chicken, and rich sambal made it a comforting and indulgent meal. The customer service was equally impressive. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. It’s no surprise that local artist Azhan Rani has also promoted this cafe it truly lives up to the hype! If you’re in Kota Samarahan, make sure to drop by Oten’s for a delicious and memorable meal. Highly recommended!

This shop is my benchmark for Laksa Sarawak in the Kuching and Samarahan area—nothing else comes close! I also love their mee kolok goreng with extra fried chicken. Always satisfying. I constantly recommend this place to my friends—definitely a must-try!
